A helicopter crash on a rural street in Louisiana killed three people, including an infant, and injured four others, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday in the town of St. Martinville, about 50 miles west of Baton Rouge.
The helicopter, a Bell 206B, was carrying six people when it crashed into a power line and then the ground, according to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office identified the deceased as the pilot, 49-year-old Michael Vosburg of Maurice; a 36-year-old woman from Lafayette; and a 1-year-old girl from Broussard.
The four injured people were taken to a local hospital, where they were being treated for various injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
