Yesterday, November 3, 2024, marked the official start of the campaign for President of the United States. Candidates from both major parties, as well as several independent candidates, have already begun holding rallies and giving speeches across the country.
The Democratic Candidates
The Democratic field is currently led by former Vice President Joe Biden, who is considered the frontrunner in the race. Other Democratic candidates include Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Kamala Harris.
Biden has focused his campaign on his experience and his ability to unite the country. Sanders has emphasized his progressive policies, such as Medicare for All and a Green New Deal. Warren has focused on her plans to address economic inequality and corruption. Harris has emphasized her experience as a prosecutor and her commitment to criminal justice reform.
The Republican Candidates
