Frankfurt Wins 3-0 on Aggregate, Earns Spot in Final Four
Goals from Filip Kostic, Daichi Kamada, and Rafael Santos Borré Seal Victory
Eintracht Frankfurt secured a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League after a commanding 3-0 aggregate victory over Czech side SK Slavia Prague.
The victory was sealed in the second leg at Frankfurt's Deutsche Bank Park, where the German team dominated proceedings from the outset.
Filip Kostic opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a stunning strike from outside the area, giving Frankfurt an early advantage.
Daichi Kamada doubled the lead just before half-time with a composed finish after good work from Rafael Santos Borré.
Borré himself got on the scoresheet in the second half, heading home a cross from Kostic to put the game beyond doubt.
Slavia Prague, who had stunned Arsenal in the previous round, failed to muster a response as Frankfurt controlled the tempo of the game.
Frankfurt's victory sets up a semi-final clash with either RB Leipzig or Atalanta, who face off in the other semi-final.
Eintracht Frankfurt will be looking to reach their first European final since winning the UEFA Cup in 1980.
