Voronezh company accelerated the production of chimneys

The Voronezh Pipe Plant (VTZ) upgraded the equipment, which made it possible to increase the production of chimneys one and a half times.

VTZ (part of Severstal) has launched a new line for the production of chimneys. The company upgraded the equipment at the welding and assembly site, which made it possible to increase production volumes by one and a half times – up to 120 thousand running meters of chimneys per year.

The volume of investments in the project amounted to 15 million rubles.

Introduction of a new welding line allowed increasing the speed of chimney assembly three times.

The line uses high-frequency welding, which allows you to produce pipes with a diameter of 114 to 530 mm and a length of up to 12 m. In addition, on the new line, it is possible to produce chimneys with a complex configuration and an oval cross-section, which is especially in demand in individual housing construction.

High-frequency welding lines are characterized by high productivity and low consumables consumption. The new line allows VTZ to fulfill orders faster and produce high-quality and reliable products.

Chimneys are used in the construction of residential, industrial, and agricultural buildings. They are designed to remove combustion products from boilers and stoves.
