Residents of Khakassia are ordered today to be kind and give flowers

What is the reason for such an order?

Today, May 25, is the Day of Kind Deeds in Khakassia. On this day, residents of the republic are encouraged to do good deeds, give flowers, and just be kind to each other.

The head of the republic, Valentin Konovalov, signed a decree on this holiday in 2019.

The purpose of the holiday is to promote kindness, mercy, and compassion among the population of Khakassia. On this day, various events are held throughout the republic, aimed at helping those in need, providing assistance to the elderly and disabled, and improving the environment.

For example, last year, on the Day of Kind Deeds, volunteers planted trees, cleaned up parks and squares, and visited orphanages and nursing homes.

This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, mass events will not be held. However, residents of Khakassia can still take part in the holiday by doing good deeds on their own.

For example, you can give flowers to your loved ones, help an elderly neighbor with groceries, or donate to a charity.

Any act of kindness, no matter how small, can make the world a better place. Let's all try to be a little kinder today and every day!
