Ex-Celtics Guard Responds To Jaylen Brown’s Beef With Bucks Star
Ex-Celtic Evan Turner Rips Bucks' Grayson Allen For Low Blow On Jaylen Brown
Turner: 'That Was Uncalled For'
Former Boston Celtics guard Evan Turner has weighed in on the recent incident involving Jaylen Brown and Grayson Allen of the Milwaukee Bucks.
During a game between the two teams, Allen delivered a low blow to Brown, which resulted in a flagrant foul 2 and ejection.
Turner, who played with Brown in Boston, expressed his disappointment with Allen's actions.
'He Crossed The Line'
“That was uncalled for,” Turner said. “Grayson crossed the line. He knows better than that.”
Turner believes that Allen's actions were intentional and that he should face further punishment.
“I think the league needs to take a hard look at this,” Turner said. “He could have seriously injured Jaylen.”
Brown Responds
Brown, who is currently recovering from the injury, has also spoken out about the incident.
“I'm just glad I'm okay,” Brown said. “That could have been a lot worse.”
Brown said that he is not holding a grudge against Allen, but he hopes that the Bucks guard learns from his mistake.
“I hope he understands that there is no place for that kind of play in the NBA,” Brown said.
Allen Apologizes
Allen has since apologized for his actions.
“I'm sorry for my actions,” Allen said. “I made a mistake and I regret it.”
Allen said that he is committed to playing the game the right way and that he will learn from this experience.
