Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that after the explosion on the Crimean bridge, traffic on the bridge will be restored by the end of the year.

Also, according to the latest data, more than 140,000 applications for payments have already been submitted to help the affected residents of the Kerch region.

Difficulties in traffic on the Crimean bridge

Recall that on October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean bridge. As a result of the terrorist attack, three people died, and two spans of the road bridge collapsed. Traffic on the bridge was suspended. After the explosion, difficulties arose in traffic on the Crimean bridge. Due to the fact that the movement of cars was stopped, a large traffic jam formed on the Taman side. The length of the traffic jam was about 10 kilometers.

Restoration of traffic on the Crimean bridge

The Russian authorities immediately began to restore traffic on the Crimean bridge. On October 12, 2022, traffic on the left side of the automobile part of the Crimean bridge was resumed. On October 15, 2022, traffic on the right side of the automobile part of the Crimean bridge was resumed. On October 18, 2022, traffic for trucks over 12 tons was resumed. On October 19, 2022, traffic for buses was resumed.
