Icon of the Seas: The Largest Cruise Ship in the World

Royal Caribbean's newest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, is the largest ever built, surpassing the Wonder of the Seas.

With a gross tonnage of 248,336 and a length of 365 meters, Icon of the Seas is a floating city that can accommodate up to 7,600 guests. The ship features a wide range of amenities, including 20 restaurants, 11 bars, a water park, a casino, and a shopping mall.

Icon of the Seas is the first cruise ship to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is a more environmentally friendly fuel than traditional diesel. The ship also features a number of other green initiatives, such as LED lighting and solar panels.

Icon of the Seas is scheduled to begin sailing in January 2024. The ship will sail from Miami to the Caribbean on seven-night cruises.
