Irvine Motorcycle Crash Leaves One Dead, Another Critical

Victim Identified as Jotham Daniel Gant

Irvine, CA (February 8, 2024) – Jotham Daniel Gant, 23, of Irvine, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Thursday morning, February 1, 2024. Another man involved in the crash is in critical condition.

According to the Irvine Police Department, Gant was riding a Yamaha motorcycle westbound on Alton Parkway when he collided with a gray GMC SUV at the intersection of Alton Parkway and Michelson Drive. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Gant was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The other man involved in the crash, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
