Exporting Video and Animations from Adobe Photoshop

Saving as a PNG Sequence

To save your Photoshop animation as a PNG sequence, navigate to File > Export > Render Video. Select PNG Sequence from the Format dropdown menu. Configure the settings as desired, such as the frame range and output directory. Click Render to export the animation as individual PNG frames.

Exporting as a GIF or MP4

While Photoshop does not support direct APNG creation, you can export your animations as GIFs or MP4s. To create a GIF, choose File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy). Select GIF from the Format dropdown menu and adjust the settings as needed. Click Save to export the animation as a GIF.

To create an MP4, choose File > Export > Render Video. Select H.264 (MP4) from the Format dropdown menu. Configure the settings, including the video resolution, frame rate, and bitrate. Click Render to export the animation as an MP4 video file.
