The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society: Relying on Volunteer Fosters

Helping Animals in Need

Volunteer Foster Program

The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society (LVVHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals in the Las Vegas Valley. Unlike many animal shelters, LVVHS does not operate a physical shelter. Instead, they rely on a network of volunteer fosters to provide temporary care for animals in need.

The LVVHS volunteer foster program is a vital part of their mission to help animals. The fosters provide temporary homes for animals who have been rescued from neglect or abandonment, injured, or orphaned. The fosters care for the animals until they are healthy and ready to be adopted into permanent homes.

The LVVHS foster program is always in need of volunteers. If you are interested in helping animals in need and have a spare room in your home, please consider becoming a volunteer foster for LVVHS. You can learn more about the program at https://www.lvvhs.org.
