  • Journalism

What activities are not allowed in Cuba?

US citizens are not allowed to engage in certain activities in Cuba, including:

  • Tourism that benefits the Cuban government
  • Exporting or importing goods or services
  • Engaging in commercial activities
  • Providing financial or material support to the Cuban government

Do I need to book a tour through my cruise line?

No. You can book your own tour or activities once you arrive in Cuba.

What if I want to stay in Cuba longer than 11 days?

You will need to apply for a visa from the Cuban government.
