Sorcha Edwards Elected General Secretary of Housing Europe

Sorcha is responsible for the institutional relations and the overall coordination of the Secretariats work

Sorcha Edwards has been elected General Secretary of Housing Europe, the European Federation of Public, Cooperative and Social Housing.

Sorcha has been working with Housing Europe since 2016, and has held a number of roles within the organisation, including Head of Policy and Communications, and Deputy General Secretary.

In her new role, Sorcha will be responsible for the overall management of Housing Europe, and will represent the organisation at a number of events and meetings.

Sorcha is a passionate advocate for affordable housing, and has a wealth of experience in the housing sector.

She said: “I am delighted to have been elected General Secretary of Housing Europe. This is a great opportunity to work with our members to deliver affordable, sustainable housing for all Europeans.

I look forward to working with our members to build on the success of Housing Europe, and to ensure that we continue to be a strong voice for the housing sector in Europe.
