Two People Killed in Loop 323 Motorcycle Wreck

Tyler Police and UT Health EMS Respond to Fatal Crash

Tyler, Texas – July 20, 2023

Tyler Police and UT Health EMS are currently on the scene of a fatal motorcycle wreck that occurred at the 500 block of WSW Loop 323 and Brookside Drive. According to Tyler Police Department spokesperson Andy Erbaugh, preliminary investigation indicates that the car involved in the accident turned directly in front of the motorcycle.

As of this writing, two people have been confirmed deceased as a result of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims. The Tyler Police Department is urging drivers to avoid the area as the roadway is currently closed for investigation.

This tragic incident serves as a sobering reminder of the dangers associated with motorcycle operation.
